Called the “Stone of Successful Love”, Emeralds are revered the world over and have been for 6 centuries. Sold as early as 4,000BC in the Babylonian markets it was also a stone worshipped by the Incas and believed by the Chaldean to contain a goddess within.

The Greeks dedicated Emeralds to the Goddess, Venus because they bring inspiration, patience, unity, compassion and unconditional love. They promote friendship, balance between partners, contentment, loyalty and domestic bliss. They are often used in engagement or wedding rings for this reason.

They are popular gems in jewellery, particularly with the rich and famous, including Royalty across the globe, and Egyptian Goddesses (Isis) and Queens (Cleopatra). In Ancient Egypt the God Thoth believed they represented eternal life.

They are actually beryllium aluminum silicate with the beautiful characteristic green colour coming from chromium and/or vanadium impurities within the stones structure. Natural emeralds have inclusions and this is what is termed Le Jardin (the garden) and they can be easily damaged. No two Emeralds are alike, they are as different as delicate snowflakes, each with their own personalities, energies and unique healing gifts. They enhance a sense of well-being, balance and harmony.

Emerald is my personal power crystal. Each one of my individual Celtic Healing Emeralds has been specifically chosen personally by me (as a Crystal Practitioner and Shaman) for their individual healing qualities and energies. They are all natural, untreated Colombian emeralds, a country known for providing the highest quality emeralds in the world. During your therapy you will experience deep relaxation and peace for the 45 min of on body treatment and their energy will keep on working with you long after you leave. A 1 hour session includes 15 min for a pre and post treatment discussion.
